For all the impassioned debate capital punishment inspires, very little is said about the people actually tasked with carrying out the grave sentence.

Meet Albert Pierrepoint: husband, publican, and the most prolific executioner in British history.

This new musical, however, seeks more than moral discussion on capital punishment, but also to pay tribute to the value and honor of the working class of a community not so long ago and far away; as well as to remind us of the responsibilities we hold toward our fellow citizens of the world; and of the bravery to change one's mind.
